IEEE Information Assurance Standards Committee

The IEEE Information Assurance Standards Committee (IASC) announces two events co-located with the Second IEEE International Workshop on Information Assurance.

1st Baseline Operating Systems Security Working Group Meeting

The first IEEE IASC Baseline Operating Systems Security Working Group (BOSSWG, IEEE P2200) meeting will take place at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) Wednesday, April 7, 2004, the day before the Second IEEE International Workshop on IA (IWIA '04).

The meeting will be chaired Gary Stoneburner, IEEE P2200 Working Group Vice Chair.

IWIA '04 will also include a panel session on BOSS. There is no registration fee for the BOSSWG meeting itself, BOSSWG meeting attendees wishing to also attend IWIA '04 need to register.

The agenda and location details of the WG meeting to be published by March 7, 2004. A preliminary agenda is available.

IASC Executive Committee Meeting

The executive commitee of the IEEE Information Assurance Standards Committee will hold a meeting following IWIA '04 on the afternoon of Friday, April 9, 2004, also at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).
